I should probably stop procrastinating with the posting of these comics.
Couldn’t post this earlier today because I had studying, and now WordPress thinks that it’s Tuesday when it’s really still Monday where I am. Either way, I’m not late.
HEY A COMIC
First things first, you probably noticed that instead of going to number 14, I jumped back to number 11. This is because I’m sort of adjusting the canon chronology of the comic (if there is one lol.)
My head magically grew in the second panel.
I also said I was going to mention some good news and bad news, so here goes.
THE BAD NEWS: A big chunk of the reason for the pause in comic production was because I had no idea how to write the continuation of the selling-Airrick arc, and got stuck. I’ve removed the previous comics from the website, but they are still viewable here, here and here, for old history’s sake. I likely will not return to the arc for a couple of months until I can fully plan everything out, and chances are that the “Duplicates” comic will not be canon. I also have not drawn anything CA-related in a while, so I’m sort of rusty.
THE GOOD NEWS: I have buffers ready! This means that comics will be guaranteed for the next few weeks. Isn’t that lovely. I also improved some of my overall drawing skill during the unofficial hiatus, which actually may not be apparent in Colorful Accounts for a little bit, but things will catch up once I knock off all that rust.
Thanks for sticking with me. Here’s fingers crossed for a better year of more consistently posted comics. XD
Happy new year! :)
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 5,200 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 9 years to get that many views.
I’m still figuring out how to make the little story line work out the way I want it to. I also have another tryout this Friday.
A bit of mental fodder (or maybe just chewing gum). Style sort of took after Subnormality.
This kind of crap mindset was dominant in my head since school started this year, but things are starting to turn around at last.
This comic may or may not be funny or even philosophically correct. Oops.
Turns out that 24-hour-comic day is October 20th, whoops – but that’s fine. I also did a mutated version of the event – you’re supposed to draw 24 pages in 24 hours. I just did hourlies. lol.
Sorry for the poor quality. This is the first time I actually SCANNED hourlies. I also have really bad handwriting. Hehehe
Happy birthday to two of my friends, by the way. Whoooo
Someone probably saw this coming, I swear. (I’ll color it. Someday.)
This is your comic for the week. Blame physics class. And the fact I’ve been spending more time planning future comics than actually drawing them >_>
Next week I’ll post hourlies, I swear. Tomorrow is 24-hour comic day so yup. I encourage the rest of you to give it a shot, as well!
